1. Reducing Drowning Risks: Shockingly, an average of 400 people drown in the UK each year, many of whom are children. BASC plays a crucial role in teaching vital water safety skills to help prevent these tragedies.

2. Addressing Social Inequality: Boston faces significant social and economic challenges, with limited access to affordable sports facilities. BASC aims to provide an inclusive environment, ensuring that swimming is accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.

3. Preserving Community Facilities: Local swimming pools are closing at an alarming rate. Since 2015, 276 public pools have shut their doors in the UK, leaving communities underserved. BASC is committed to being a beacon of hope and opportunity for our region.
